French Judge Issues Arrest Warrant For Landis
Floyd Landis Accused Of Anti-Doping Data Hacking
SAMUEL PETREQUIN, AP Sports Writer
PARIS – A French judge has issued an international arrest warrant for U.S. cyclist Floyd Landis in connection with a case of data hacking at a doping laboratory, France’s anti-doping chief said Monday. Pierre Bordry told The Associated Press that French judge Thomas Cassuto is seeking to question Landis about computer hacking dating back to September 2006 at the Chatenay-Malabry lab. Months earlier, the laboratory near Paris had uncovered abnormally elevated testosterone levels in Landis’ samples collected in the run-up to his 2006 Tour de France victory.

CrossFit Challenge Father vs. Son
Carter was very cute while filming our CrossFit challenge. He was taking it very seriously.
As of now I’m 45 days into CrossFit at Emergent Fitness. I’ve attended twice a week for 6 weeks. A more complete Emergent Fitness update to come in a few days…

Mick Hannah’s DH Run in Portugal
Our friends over at Giro have posted a sweet downhill video of Mick Hannah going ballistic in Portugal. So rad. Check it out.
What’s the Red Kite?
According to the rules (UCI reg 2.3.005); “the last kilometer of a bike race shall be marked by a red triangle (or kite).”
Win or lose, the final kilometer is where things come together at a bike race. Some careers and reputations are made here, and others shattered, sometimes repeatedly. True cycling fans, the tifosi, know it as THE place to be – an area to line up ten-deep with family, friends and strangers alike to shout, ring cow bells and wave enormous foam hands at the riders in the finale.
Giro’s Red Kite is a place for us to share the experience of the final kilometer. Or wherever else the ride takes us. Enjoy.
OC CHILI WINTER TRAIL RUN SERIES – This Saturday – Trabuco Canyon

As you probably remember we took part in last years OC Chili Winter Trail series. This year we are at it again. The second annual OC Chili Winter Trail Run series kicks off on Saturday, February 13, 2010, in Trabuco Canyon, California with the remaining races of the series continuing March 13 and April 17 at O’Neill Regional Park.

This event is a blast. It is simple community event with quality trails (please don’t rain too much) and lots of good food afterwards.

The OC Chili Winter Trail Run Series benefits is a 5 Mile trail run/walk through O’Neill Regional Park, which benefits Trails4All. One of the most scenic races in Orange County, the course is everything you could want in a trail run, with a wide start line, varying terrain, fire roads, challenging uphill climbs with scenic single track trails on the way down. The course starts at Sycamore Flats, travels up West End Trail to Live Oak Trail, and passes through Monastery Road. The trail run finishes at the same location, with post race chili and a campfire to keep warm.
This run benefits the non-profit org – Trails4All that coordinates and manages volunteer trail projects throughout Orange County. In 2009 alone, Trails4All cleaned up over 53,000 lbs of trash at different Orange County sites. Sure wish we had these guys up here in LA. They could help us keep nature natural and maybe even engage some of the equine groups in PV that drive me crazy.

Bahati: Out of Compton Television Trailer
Good things happening with the crew at Colorado Premier Training and Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team.
It’s pretty incredible to see the impact that cycling can have. I’ve seen Rahsaan Bahati race in person a few times and I’ve never seen him lose.
Good job guys!
