My mom is in town and yesterday she gave Julie and I the opportunity to have a date day. We kicked off the day with a run at the Devil’s Backbone. Julie was killin it. It was cold and each step we took was through an inch of fresh snow. It was the first trail run Julie had done since living in CO…she never stopped smiling.

I love running and I miss it but I’m living through Julie’s training.

Today we are off the Denver Aquarium for Carter to see sharks.
