Should I shave my legs for my race this weekend?

My wife Julie and I have an ongoing battle. I want to shave my legs and she does not want me to. Dave shaves his legs and people still like him, (just not girls) so I figure I would be fine. To be honest, I have really good calf muscles and I want to show them off. I’m not being cocky, this is confirmed. My buddy Ty Mattson was riding behind me the other day and said “your legs are looking good”. I was so pumped after that!

What should I do? Shave or no shave?

Love, If you want I give you permission to shave your legs! But, don’t run to me crying because your cuts on your legs won’t stop bleeding or that your legs are spicky because your hair is growing back! -Your wonderful wife

Show off your CALVES!!! You worked your butt off to gain those muscles!!-
–however, I’m a female and I also agree with your wife, your hair will grow back unless you do what your buddy dave does and keep shaving………….

    Julie,
you said you wanted him to be more metro and this is his start to male grooming. Andy use baby powder to shave, dry, it works better then all the other techniques and you will smell like Carter’s butt. Or, have your wife take you in the shower and shove you down, That’s HOT!

Shaved Legs are ugly but comfy!

    Shave it all!

kinda weird post. if you wanna be OK with shaving your legs, all you have to do is get a roll of duck tape and peel all your legs hairs off. you will be manly for it and no one can hate, because you used duck tape?!?!?!?!

Duct tape is next level. I never thought about that.

The first time my boyfriend crawled in next to me with those porky pine quills I was more than a little disturbed. I use to think gross, that’s weird, a dude that shaves his legs, and darn those hairs poke the heck out of you. (I wondered if that what it was like for them, when we don’t shave) It’s like a wire dry brush treatment that leaves you with a rash on your tender skin after rubbing up next to them. How sexy is that!

He professed he did it for functional purposes. He said if he happened to hit the pavement or dirt, his road rash wouldn’t consist of the added blend of blood, skin, gravel and HAIR. OWE!

Gotta admit he did have great legs, muscular, each muscle clearly defined. Nice. I’ve noticed alot of cyclers do. When they are silky smooth you want to run your hands across them. So guys if your going to shave I recommend you up the anti to shaving silky smooth daily or perhaps twice a day for that hairy beast.

SHAVE THEM!!!! Do it today! If it makes you a few seconds nay minutes faster then it is justified. Kinda like shaving your head would make you faster…(Andy you know this)…All I have to say is shave them!

FYI - I didn’t shave my legs. I kind of wussed out. I plan on doing it this week during some down time in CO. I will share the pictures.
